Horse
breeding as such started in the year 2000, when DELEITE
V , a dappled grey stallion was purchased. It belonged
to Sol brand, and became remarkably successful at morphofunctional
contests. This horse died in 2003.
Later
several mares and fillies branded Pallarés and
Camacho Benitez Brothers were bought. The ranch owns
five female horses from the latter brand, on which the
dapple gray line is based.
Purchases continued when another stallion was bought:
another stallion, bay in this case, branded Los Corrales
DRAGO II, son of Vinatero III. This horse is
achieving major success at the contests in which he participates,
based on the bay breed line.
TENAZ was bought in 2004. It is branded D. Gonzalo
Valenzuela , the origin of which can be traced to the
farm of the Camacho Benitez Brothers. This animal has
been placed within the category of 2004 Qualified Stud
Horse (A 000134), scoring over 77 points.
The ranch owns bay and dappled grey horses, which have
-at different ages- obtained important prizes for this
stud. This is remarkable when considering the short years
of riding.
At each contest, our products -those we breed as well
as those we buy- are subjected to the opinion of the judges
and comparisons with other animals. Even though this does
not impose a criterion to our choice, it provides us with
an overall guide about the path we have already starting
treading.
